Andrew qualified from Birmingham Dental School in 1979, gaining extensive oral surgery experience at hospitals in the West Midlands and University College Hospital, London.
He obtained a specialist degree in Conservative Dentistry and underwent extensive higher training in Restorative Dentistry at Guy's Hospital. He is a registered specialist in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics with the General Dental Council and a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
Andrew is on the council of the British Society for Restorative Dentistry, and a member of the British Dental Association, The Association of Consultants and Specialists in Restorative Dentistry, The British Society for the Study of Prosthetic Dentistry, The Association of Dental Implantology and the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is a fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Andrew is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in The Diploma in Implant Dentistry examination and for the Royal College of Surgeons of England in their Membership in Restorative Dentistry. Both these examinations lead to specialist qualifications and recognition.
Andrew has over 20 years experience in treating patients with implants. His particular interests are in cosmetic dentistry and extensive reconstructions of broken down teeth, using implants, with crowns, bridges or dentures fixed to them, to recreate natural smiles and restore patients' confidence.
